The options package, available only on XLT series F-150s, includes a striking two-tone paint scheme that harkens back to the paint style on the 70s and 80s F-150s, though it looks decidedly more dramatic on the modern F-150’s svelte body with its aluminum panels and wide stance. The two-tone design follows the same basic style as the older models: one color for the roof and door pillars, another for the midsection of the body, then the same color from the roof on the lower doors, lower body, and trim pieces. What makes this design so striking on the modern F-150 is the colors available:
- Race Red midsection, with upper and lower Carbonized Gray
- Atlas Blue midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black
- Antimatter Blue midsection, with upper and lower Carbonized Gray
- Avalanche midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black
- Area 51 midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black
All five of these combinations are available with special interior styling cues such as an embossed console cover, special “75 years” decals on the upper windshield and interior, and specially trimmed seat covers with unique inserts. All these elements come together to make an F-150 that looks like no other truck on the road.
